What is Personal Training?

Personal Training is a way to begin or enhance your personal fitness program with the focused aid of a trained fitness professional.  Achieving fitness, like any goal, takes commitment and personal training can help you achieve and maintain your fitness as effectively as possible.  You can be assured of receiving professional and meticulous service from our training staff.  Our personal trainers hold a variety of  professional certifications or college degrees in fitness and are CPR certified.  We make it our goal to maintain the highest standard of instruction by staying up-to-date on the latest research in exercise and nutrition practices You will receive a safe, effective, and efficient program designed just for you.  Your trainer will take the time to learn your specific goals and will design a program that will safely and effectively help you reach your desired level of fitness.  Plus a trainer can challenge and motivate you to achieve your fitness goals. From beginners to those who are already avid exercisers, a trainer helps maximize your workouts and efforts.

You will receive a comprehensive health and fitness evaluation before you even do a single crunch!  Many clients say personal training improved their quality of life, increased their energy and empowered them with an overall sense of health and wellness.

Personal Training Programs

Group Personal Training
Would you like to work out with a friend or family member to keep on track? Partner or small group training sessions are available and very affordable. Our certified trainers will help educate and motivate you in a comfortable group setting.
Introduction to Personal Training
This program consists of a three session training package with a certified trainer for just $119! The package will include a fitness evaluation, body fat analysis, and two 45-minute sessions of personal training to design a custom  program for you. This program is great for new members or anyone looking for professional coaching and advice.
In-Home Personal Training
Too busy to come to the gym? We’ll come to you! Do you prefer
a private setting for your workouts? Our certified trainers will teach you the proper use of the equipment you already have in your home or office, or we can bring our portable equipment to you. Elite Athletic Training
A highly  specialized athletic training for adults that emphasizes the client’s athletic abilities. Involves drills, sports specific exercises, nutrition, plyometrics, speed and agility, power training and periodization. Available by appointment only. Taught by certified athletic trainers, competitive Olympic weight lifter, and/or a martial arts master.
Fitness Re-Assessment
Have your fitness goals hit a plateau? Whether your goal is weight loss, muscle gain, or core strengthening, our professional trainers will design a workout program just for your body type. You will be given an overall assessment of your fitness level and a workout plan that will help you reach your goals. Your consultation will include height and body weight analysis, blood pressure testing, body measurements, body fat analysis, and a health and diet related assessment for just $50 (R) / $60(NR).

Specialty Training

Personal Training for the Water Lover
Personal Training in water is an excellent choice for those recovering from a sports injury or surgery, those looking for a new cross training addition to their workouts, or those who are initiating a fitness program. Water can be the gentlest and yet one of the most powerful sources for training and conditioning the body, whether you are a seasoned athlete or just starting out. Janice Wodka is AEA certified to lead sessions including post rehab, range of motion, active aging, suspension (zero impact) training, and more.

Personal Training for the Martial Artist
Training in this program incorporates strength, focus, combinations, and weight training into your fitness routine. Sessions can be arranged with Victor Meladze, a black belt martial arts instructor.

Personal Training for the Athlete
Training in this program will focus on speed, power, balance, core strength and agility. Training will enhance all sports, and can also be customized to your specific needs. Training is provided by Sports Conditioning Trainer

Private TRX Training
TRX training uses suspension body weight exercises for strength, balance, core and flexibility. Each exercise works multiple muscles and joints simultaneously. Invented by a former Navy SEAL, TRX gives athletes and fitness enthusiasts  a total body workout.

Private Sports Nutrition and Weight Management
Achieve your weight loss goals or establish healthy eating habits to maintain your weight. Sports and performance nutrition services are also offered.

Personal Training Notes

  • All training packages expire six months from the date of purchase.
  • All packages are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • All training sessions that are cancelled without at least 24 hours notice will be billed.
